What do you do at Treehouse?

I’m one of the Treehouse co-founders and serve as our Chief Product Officer. I work closely with our Design and Engineering teams to create delightful software experiences that make electrification easy for our customers, partners, and installers.

What were you doing prior to Treehouse, and why did you decide to join us?

Before Treehouse, I spent almost a decade at LinkedIn working on AI and data-related products. While going through the process of electrifying our home (we now have mini-splits, a HWPH, and an EV), I saw first hand how challenging the process can be. But I also realized how technology could make the experience far more delightful and installations more cost-effective. You could say I’m energized to make that vision a reality! ⚡

Share a memorable moment or project that you’ve worked on since joining Treehouse.

My most memorable moment was “assisting” Alex, one of our rockstar electricians, with relocating an existing dryer outlet and installing a lovely new heat pump water heater in my garage. There’s no substitute for first-hand experience!

‍At Treehouse our mission is to make electrification easy. What’s your favorite way we are doing that and why?

While consumers directly see how we make home electrification easy for them, what’s less obvious, but I’m equally pumped about, is how we’re making the experience easier for electricians. Using data collected from thousands of installs, computer vision, and software, we’re reducing the need for site visits and automating key parts of solution design and permitting. This eliminates much of the tedious desk work required for installations, and I’m excited to see how far we can push this process!
