What do you do at Treehouse?

I am a general and electrical contractor. My primary responsibilities are to manage training, quality and compliance across all of our construction operations.

What were you doing prior to Treehouse, and why did you decide to join us?

I was running my own contracting business while helping a friend launch another growing company. I decided to join Treehouse because of the challenging problem in front of me needing to be solved. Virtual quoting has not been widely available in the construction industry thus far, and it seemed to me that this was the right problem to begin tackling considering all the future electrification that needs to happen.

Share a memorable moment or project that you’ve worked on since joining Treehouse.

Although there have been many memorable projects over the last couple years, at the top of my list has to be my general contractor’s license. This allows us to continue to grow as a company by helping us serve an increasingly diverse set of partners and projects across the electrification category, such as complex commercial charger installations involving extensive concrete work in addition to electrical.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, and how do you apply it to your work at Treehouse?

“No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” - 26th POTUS Theodore Roosevelt

I use this quote to remind myself that being right isn’t enough and doesn’t move the needle if the team doesn’t follow.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I am a dad to 3 amazing kiddos. When I’m not at one of the kids' events and I can find the time, I really enjoy golfing with friends.
